Getting to Know Your Customer

Do you know who your target audience is?

Before you even think about designing a logo, branding, website, ANYTHING, that’s the first thing you should figure out.

Are they male/female? How old are they? Where do they live? Do they have kids? What do they do for work? What do they do at the weekend? What are their hobbies? What’s their favourite food? What magazines do they read? What podcasts do they listen to? Where do they shop? Where do they hang out online?

Seriously, get specific! Print out a photo of what you think they might look like, give them a name. Before you make any decisions about your business, think would that person like it?

Doing this deep dive right from the get go will help you tailor your business to appeal to the customers you want to attract.
